Armed with a rich beat and dramatic close-ups of flesh, These New Puritans unveil the new video for their song “Attack Music.” The track, off the group’s sophomore release, Hidden, features vocals by Heather Marlatt of UK-based outfit Salem, as well as performances by the New London Children’s Choir.
The video, directed by Matthew Stone, initially suggests a fight song, but intimate scenes full of tangled limbs widens the possibility for interpretation of the word “attack.” Slow motion reveals the performers locked in a dance-off of sorts, and, enhanced by the rhythm of the song, comes off as effortlessly sexy.
