Los Angeles-based quartet The Like, whose latest album, Release Me, will drop later this year, took a few minutes away from their own material last month to cover the Carole King/Gerry Goffin-written hit, “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow.”
The ’60s classic has undergone many revisions, most famously the version sung by all-girl group The Shirelles. For The Like’s redux, the girls went acoustic, with a single guitar, a violin, and handclaps for the rhythm section.
Afterwards, the group performed a live, unplugged version of “He’s Not a Boy,” the new single from the aforementioned Release Me.
