Shearwater frontman Jonathan Meiburg shows off his acting prowess in the band’s video for the song “Hidden Lakes.” He also sports colonial-era garb and fake eye lashes that appear to be made of feathers, all while searching for a lost dog. Under the piano-laden strains of the track, as well as the skills of director Alma Har’el, this all actually works quite well.
Meiburg, out of costume, performs the song in a less epic setting:
