Elijah Wood takes a staring role in the new Apples in Stereo video, for the song “Dance Floor,” off the band’s forthcoming album, Travellers in Space and Time.
The Greg Gilpatrick-directed clip stays fairly married to the album’s title. Wood—whose Simian Records, along with Yep Roc and Elephant 6, will release the new album on April 20—gets zapped through a strange time machine-like device and sent to a brightly colored world of ridiculous costumes and auto-tune. It’s all a bit too happy in my opinion, though Wood appears to be enjoying himself.
Meanwhile, we’re still waiting on that Iggy Pop biopic…
