Great Lake Swimmers, who just released a limited-edition live recording dubbed The Legion Sessions (named for the Royal Canadian Legion Pub, where the album was recorded), did just that, creating an interactive map to accompany the new release. The deal is simple: Nine videos were shot to go with the nine songs on the release. Click around the map to find all of them, and you’ll be given a link to a free, unreleased MP3 of the song “Don’t Be Cruel.” I spent far too long watching all nine videos and trying to actually find them embedded in the sepia-toned imagery, but there are, I suppose, far worse ways to spend an afternoon.
