When it comes to musical projects concerning Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland, none has yet to trump Tom Petty dressed as the Mad Hatter while chopping Alice up like a slice of cake in the 1985 video for “Don’t Come Around Here No More.”
But this being a new century (and decade, for that matter), the time’s come for an upgrade, one that arrives in the form of a Tim Burton film and its accompanying soundtrack. Burton’s forthcoming version of Carroll’s classic is already a highly anticipated entity. Now add the movie’s soundtrack—which MySpace revealed today—to the growing hype.
