April is just around the corner, which means good news and bad news. The bad news is that taxes are due. The good news is that we can all cheer ourselves up after forking over a check to the government by celebrating Record Store Day on April 17.
Beach House plans to take part in the annual observance of independent record retailers. Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally have prepped the Zebra EP, which will be sold exclusively through participating outlets on Record Store Day. The release features two new versions of tracks off the duo’s recently released Teen Dream.

What’s better than Will Ferrell breaking out the cowbell and performing “Free Bird” alongside Beck, Ben Harper, and Billy Gibbons? Uh, nothing, but respect goes out to Beach House for following that act when they played The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon Friday night.
