The dizzy carousel of a song that is “Slow Motion” also happens to be the b-side to Panda Bear’s new (and quite long-awaited) single “Tomboy.” A high quality stream is up right now over at Pitchfork.
The track seems ironically titled, what with the reverb-packed guitar riffs and seemingly endless vocal loops; if only I knew what Noah Lennox was actually saying. It’s Panda Bear at his hip-hoppiest, and it’s not difficult to imagine Andre Nickatina rhyming over this one.
“Tomboy” is out now via Paw Tracks. Next down the line for Lennox is another single on Domino, “You Can Count On Me” b/w “Alsatian Darn.” The former has already been covered by Svilla, whose version is based solely off live performances of the song floating around the web.
