New Liars Song – “Scissor”

Liars The first strains of Liars’ fifth full-length have arrived, with the first track from Sisterworld up and streaming at the band’s site right now.

Frontman Angus Andrew says the song is “a description of someone realizing their own inadequacies,” but from the sounds of it, the band is right on top of its game with this haunting little number that employs some somber vocal harmonies and the usual onslaught of guitars that arrive mid-track.

Sisterworld is out March 9, 2010 via Mute.
