A Jack White/Jay-Z collaboration has been spinning in the rumor mill for some time, but we can consider it official after the former’s recent chat with British GQ.
“We did a song together a few weeks ago,” the White Stripes/Raconteurs/Dead Weather frontman told the magazine. “It was incredible. I played him something that I’ve been kicking around for a while and he immediately came out with words for it. It’s unbelievable-sounding.”
White has, in the past, described Jay-Z as “just incredible,” while the rapper considers White a “renaissance man.” Both are no strangers to collaboration, and we can’t wait to hear this one.
