The Matablog announced today that the über-prolific master of guitar shredding, Kurt Vile, has another batch of seizure-inducing tunes for us. Better yet, this one’s free for the next 24 hours. Hand over an email address and you’ll get the seven-track Square Shells EP and be on “a very special Kurt Vile mailing list.” Matador promises not to make fun of your email address.
In addition to the free digital goodies, the Square Shells vinyl 12″ also hits stores today, with artwork by Matt Horseshit and Sore Eros
The EP precedes a third longplayer Kurt Vile & the Violators are said to be putting the finishing touches on right now. That album should get release later this year.
